I photographed this family of river otters near Otter Cliff in Acadia National Park one morning when I was hoping to photograph a sunrise that never really materialized. I was set up closer to the cliff than I usually do, and these guys popped up to check me out before swimming off. Such a nice surprise, and kept the morning from being a total bust!
